- Property and installation details — information about your home or business (service panel type, parking configuration, vehicle make/model, intended charger location) needed to quote and perform an EV charger installation.
- Lead source information — the referral partner (if any) that introduced you to GreenKey, and any consent disclosures associated with that intake.
- Communications content — records of emails, phone calls, text messages, and in-person meetings related to your installation inquiry or project.
- SMS-specific data — your mobile phone number, your consent status, the date and method by which consent was captured, and the content and timestamps of SMS messages exchanged between you and GreenKey.
- Payment information — when you pay for services, we or our payment processor collect billing information needed to process the transaction. GreenKey does not store full credit card numbers on our own systems.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry and provide quotes, proposals, and scheduling for EV charger installation services;
- To perform permitting, utility coordination, and installation work;
- To send transactional and conversational communications (by phone, SMS, or email) about your project;
- To comply with legal, tax, warranty, and regulatory obligations;
- To maintain records required for audit and dispute resolution (including consent records for SMS communications);
- To improve our internal operations.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share your SMS-specific data (phone number, consent status, or message content) with any third party except as strictly necessary to deliver the messages you have consented to receive (see “Service Providers” below) or as required by law.
Service Providers
We use a limited number of service providers to operate our business. These providers are contractually bound to use your information only to provide services to GreenKey and not for their own purposes. Our primary service providers include:
- Twilio, Inc. — for delivery of SMS messages that you have consented to receive;
- Microsoft Corporation — for email, file storage, and identity services;
- Cloudflare, Inc. — for hosting and infrastructure;
- Our licensed electrical subcontractors and permitting agents, when needed to complete your installation.
Your Choices
You can exercise the following choices at any time:
- Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any text message from GreenKey. See our SMS Program Terms for details.
- Request access or deletion: Contact us at [email protected] to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to request deletion of your information (subject to legal and contractual retention requirements).
- Correct your information: Contact us at [email protected] if any information we have about you is inaccurate.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide services, fulfill legal and regulatory obligations (including TCPA and A2P 10DLC consent records, which we retain for at least four years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After that, we delete or anonymize your information.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
